Note: Although the new label on this product states that it is for use with dogs and features a dog image, it does not restrict the usage for cats. PetAg Co. originally developed this product for use for dogs and cats and indicates that this product is not formulated any differently than the original product with the dog and cat image on the label. The main ingredients of Glucosamine and Chondroitin are prescribed by veterinarians for the treatment of arthritis and other similar conditions for both dogs and cats. The Texas Feed Control officials asked that PetAg remove cats from the label because those two ingredients are not approved for use in cats. Many PetAg customers have confirmed its effectiveness for cats when used according to the directions on the product.
