About the Author
Debra J. White spent most of her life in New York City but moved to Phoenix in 1997. She became disabled from a car accident in 1994. Since 1989, she has volunteered in animal shelters. The last five years have been spent with Maricopa County Animal Care and Control Services. She lives with her for rescued dogs in Tempe. She wrote this book as a way to donate money for unwanted animals.
