Welcome to the World of Anne & Jane!

Jewelry is handcrafted sterling silver, some pieces with ceramic overlays.

The two sisters were raised in Chico, California, a college town, located where the Sacramento Valley almond orchards are watered by streams from the Sierra Nevada foothills. While caring for animals on their small family farm and observing wildlife on frequent outdoor excursions, Anne and Jane found a wealth of subjects for their future jewelry designs.

Anne went on to earn a bachelors degree in design from the University of California at Davis. Soon after she was introduced to the silver jewelry business while studying Spanish in Mexico. For the next four years Anne lived, worked and studied jewelry design in the city of Taxco, Mexico.

Jane studied graphic design at California State University, Chico and was lured into a partnership by Anne while working as a textile artist for the innovative, San Francisco based clothing company, Esprit de Corp. In 1989 Anne and Jane established their partnership in San Francisco, California and have since combined their creative efforts to produce their own original jewelry line. After nearly a decade in San Francisco the opportunity arose to balance their lifestyle and business goals. In 1998 they relocated to the old fishing port of Fort Bragg on the redwood-forested Northern California coast.
